This technique allows me to adapt the expression of the source language to that of the target language, considering the differences in grammar, idiomatic usage, and cultural backgrounds. When applying this method, I first analyze the syntactic structure and semantic meaning of the source text. Then, I identify potential points for conversion, such as part-of-speech, sentence elements, or expression styles. For example, I might convert a noun phrase in English into a verb phrase in Chinese to better conform to the latter's dynamic nature. Moreover, I pay attention to the target readers' cultural and linguistic habits, ensuring that the converted text retains the original meaning while being readily understood and accepted. Through constant practice and refinement, I have honed my ability to flexibly apply the conversion method in various translation scenarios, producing translations that are both faithful and expressive.
